Viralheat launches new social media monitoring APIs

Viralheat, maker of Social Media Monitoring tools, says it’s launched a five new APIs. The company app developers can use the five APIs to capture different categories of social interaction:

  1. Sentiment API – Uses natural language processing guess the “tone” of a conversation in relation to a brand or product
  2. Human Intent API – Crunches data to predict what leads are likely to make a purchase
  3. Monitoring API – Tracks keywords on Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Pinterest and Video sharing sites
  4. URL Shortening API – Shortens links and reports how the target content is performing
  5. Publishing API – Publish to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+
