Outbrain buys Visual Revenue

Outbrain, a digital content recommendation service,  says it’s bought editorial data startup Visual Revenue for an undisclosed amount. Visual Revenue provides analytics on how website links perform over time, and recommends where to place content. The startup says it serves 3.5 billion pages a month. Outbrain recommends content for more than 100,000 sites, including CNN, Fox News, Hearst, Rolling Stone, US Weekly and Fast Company.
