Not young person Tom Keene from Bloomberg TV wonders if iPhone is for old farts
by Curtis Lee Fulton
On his Bloomberg TV show today, Tom Keene – who earned his bow tie like a real soldier – asked his guest Steven Levy from Wired Magazine if “older people use iPhones, younger people us Samsung… is it that basic?”
Levy’s answer wasn’t too enlightening, but the research pros at Forrester say Android and iOS are neck and neck, generationally speaking. According to Forrester’s 2011 report, the real losers are Windows and Blackberry. Windows slid from 36% market share for gen Xers down to 26% for gen X and Blackberry slid from 43% for gen Xers down to 27% for gen Y.
