Clarity Media Group, owners of the daily newspaper the Washington Examiner, says the publication will stop printing a daily edition in June to focus on its new digital platform that will cover “national legislation and policy.”  Clarity says the paper will run a weekly print edition as well, targeted at “political professionals in Washington, DC and state capitals.”

Clarity also said Lou Ann Sabatier, recently the principle of online publishing consultancy Sabatier Consulting, has been named CEO of Clarity’s Washington group, which includes the Weekly Standard and the website redalertpolitics.com, in addition to the Examiner.
