Andrew Sullivan opines on the feasibility of blog paywalls

Superstar blogger Andrew Sullivan built a metered paywall for his blog, the Dish, on February 1. By the end of March he earned $135,000 in subscriptions, in addition to $518,000 from a “pre-subscription” drive earlier this year. In a video post today he explained when he thinks metered paywall can work for blogs.
