Gannett digital revenue shoots up 75%

Newspaper chain Gannett says digital revenue from content subscriptions, digital advertising and marketing solutions in its publishing segment shot up 75.5% last quarter. Digital revenue from Gannett’s cache of local newspapers is 98.4% higher, while USA TODAY went up 9.1%. Advertising revenue in Gannett’s publishing segment slid 4.5%.
