Captricity raises $2.4M

by Curtis Lee Fulton

Document conversion startup Captricity says it’s raised $2.4 million in a series A round of funding. VC firm The Social+Capital Partnership led the round, with Atlas Venture and Knight Enterprise Fund also participating. Captricity says it will use the funding to crank up marketing and improve its technology, which the company says can already convert handwriting on paper to structured data.
