Washington Post to complete metered paywall June 12

by Curtis Lee Fulton

The Washington Post says its metered paywall will be ready June 12, but it will take the newspaper “a few weeks to get everyone into the system.” Readers will be able to view 20 stories a month before a digital subscription is required to read further.

Digital subscriptions go for $9.99 a month for desktop and mobile web access.  An “all-digital package” with access to the paper’s custom apps goes for $14.99 a month. Print subscribers will get free digital access.
